MK2 Engineers is a consulting engineering firm located in Northern California that specializes in the innovative, energy-efficient design of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems for wineries, educational facilities, commercial buildings, and healthcare facilities, among others. In addition to these core services, MK2 also provides project management, energy conservation analysis and design, feasibility studies, regulatory agency approval support, and construction management. Since its founding in 1998, MK2 Engineers’ multi-disciplinary team has designed over 1,000 projects throughout California.
Projects of note include Niebaum-Coppola Estate Vineyard and Winery, Ravenswood Winery, Palmaz Family Winery, Napa River Inn, Napa Riverfront, Napa Square, The Hatt Market, Angele Restaurant, The French Laundry, Napa County Sherriff, and Napa County Hall of Justice.

TECHNOLOGY CAPABILITIES
MK2 has used AutoCAD as the primary engineering document software for over twenty (20+) years. We use state of the art software for design, 3D, office systems, client relationships, resource planning, project administration, accounting, and financial management. We utilize in-house high-speed plotters and use Dropbox to transfer large drawing files to consultants, contractors, and clients.
