This first stage of the expansion was a fast track addition of 12 fermentation tanks. MK2 Engineers designed process waste and all process utility piping, including process cold and hot water, compressed air, hot and cold glycol, nitrogen and carbon dioxide distribution systems.
One of the goals was to incorporate future facility expansion into the design .
The last phase of the Fermentation Facility expansion added 1.5 million gallons to the production capacity.
MK2 Engineers provided construction documents for process waste, all process utility, carbon dioxide evacuation and night cooling. We provided design for electrical and control systems which was seamlessly integrated with electrical and control systems serving existing facility.
